About the network
Last updated September 28, 2026
National Immigration Medical Exams is a network of independent medical practices whose physicians are designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as civil surgeons: the only doctors permitted to complete Form I-693 for people adjusting status in the United States.
Why it exists
Applicants say the same things over and over, in forums, in reviews and on the phone. They couldn’t tell whether a doctor was actually designated. Prices were quoted by phone, then a separate lab bill arrived weeks later. Websites still listed rules that changed years ago. And a form sent back for a paperwork error meant another appointment and another delay.
The network exists to fix that with one standard across independent clinics: a verifiable civil surgeon, a published price with line-by-line inclusions, real online booking, and forms prepared to the current USCIS and CDC rules.
Who does what
- Medical care is provided by the independent practice named on each clinic page. That practice and its civil surgeon examine you, complete and sign your I-693, and are responsible for your care and your medical records.
- The brand, this website, advertising and online booking tools are operated by FX3 Media. We do not provide medical care or legal advice.
- USCIS designates civil surgeons and decides every immigration case. We are not affiliated with USCIS, CDC or any government agency.
How we keep information accurate
Every rule we state is checked against USCIS and CDC primary sources and dated on the page. When a rule changes, we update it across the site at once. If you spot something out of date, email info@nationalime.com.
